It’s a huge claim, but San Francisco based fast food restaurant Eatsa are changing fast food “forever”. But how?eatsa_red_taglineOn Monday, 31st August 2015 Eatsa opened a highly automated restaurant. We say “highly”, because there’s still a group of humans hidden away in the kitchen cooking up a delicious storm, but front of house there is simply one member of staff and they don’t even take orders! Customers place their order via in store iPads – the staff member simply assists those who are more technologically challenged.

Once an order is placed, it appears in a compartment or “cubby” or just a short while after.

All you have to do is tap twice on the cubby with your name on it and it will open.

And there you have it – dinner is served. Doesn’t it look tasty?

No-Worry-Curry

This is just their first store, with another store set to open in Los Angeles in the next few months they’re certainly making strides towards changing how the fast food industry works.
